Suggest Treatment For Thyroid To Be Normal
Dear Sir , recently i went for a thryoid test under Chemilinuscenece method . My tests showed the following : T3 - 1.38 ng/nl T4 - 10.20 mcg/dl TSH - 8.56 mcIU/ml Earlier i was taking thryrox-50 mcg . I am female aged 38yrs , excise daily n maintain a normal diet ,no bad habits . Can plz suggest me how to maintain normal level .

you recent results of thyroid profile suggest to increase the dosage of thyroxine to 75mcg or 100mcg and then do a follow up examination of thyroid hormones after 6 to 8 weeks.
its adviced to also check your 'Lipid profile".
