Suggest Treatment For The Temporary Vision Loss

I just went for a jog, and about 20 minutes later during my shower, I began to lose my vision before going totally blind. After about three glasses of water my vision returned and I stabilized. I have a very slight headache, but not enough to where it bothers me.

Hello,

Loss of vision for a few minutes could have occured due to reduced blood flow to the blood vessels in the eye. This can occur with hypertension, hypercholesterolemia/triglyceridemia, atherosclerosis. Though it can occur with variant of migraine also but it makes sense to get evaluated for the above conditions and diagnose migraine once these are ruled out. You can consult your physician for a cardiovascular workup. Even an otherwise healthy individual can develop narrowing of blood vessels (raised cholesterol/triglyceride with stress)..
