I am a guy of 26 years old.I am getting pain in my testis for last 4 or 5 days.My right ball is getting bigger than my left one.I've come to know that it may be a symtom of Hydrocil.Plz. tell me whether t can be cured by only medicin or an operation is required?
HI. Noted hat you are young and just 24 years old. You have got symptoms of enlargement and pain in the right testicle. This is indicative of infection of the right testis called epididymo-orchitis and needs urgent investigations and treatment. This is not indicative of hydrocele as there is no pain in hydrocele unless getting infected and called pyocele of the sac. I would suggest you the following: Send the sample of urine for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity; tests of blood and semen analysis and culture and sensitivity as this will help in near future for proper antibiotic choices. Ultrasonography and color doppler examination of the scrotum and abdomen. Get started with an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory with painkiller properties and supportive medicines. Give scrotal support. Take bed rest.
