Suggest Treatment For Teeth Grinding And Cheek Biting In A Child

My 6 year old grinds his teeth while sleeping. The last few nights, he started to bite the inside of his cheeks and lips. The first night was the worst, it looked like he chewed off part of the inside of his cheeks. It bled alot and now the sore is black. the sores on his lips are black as well. He doesn't remember getting hurt or falling down so im assuming its because he bit his cheeks and lips while sleeping.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Chewing habit or grinding teeth while sleep is common in children but what is uncommon with your kid is chewing till it forms sores and bleeds and not being able to feel it. Sometimes this habit could be a result of worms in stools and I suggest you see your paediatrician. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
