Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Untreated Lyme Disease
My sister is in the Seton Hospital in Kyle, TX. She has many of the serious signs of untreated Lyme Desease. I would like to find a medical doctor that understands Lyme desease so that she can be tested. So many things have been ruled out so I don t understand why there is a hesitation to do one more blood test. The only answer the internal medicine doctor came up with was the test takes a long time . Then they put on some steroids just in case she might be having a reaction to the drugs that she was given to get her heart back in sync. I live in connecticut and have had Lyme plus ehrilichiosis, and Babesea.

Thank you for following up.I understand your concern. Your sister needs antibiotic therapy. I have good experience in treatment of Lyme disease. I suspect Lyme disease if:
1. She has the bite of blacklegged ticks after walking in the forests or parks with bushes .
2.Presence of typical skin rash called erythema migrans, looks as red ring,pale inside and increase around. If left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system.
3.Positive ELISA test :positive Ig M,G to Borrelia burgdorferi.
4.Effect after 10-14 days of antibiotic therapy witn cefixime(Suprax or Zifi)200mg 1tablet 2 times 5 days, you should also take antihistamine -cetrizine or Fexofenadine(Allegra) 1 tablet 1 time in the evening, for prophylaxis of disbiosis intestine visilac or bifilac 1 capsule 2 times for 1 month will be helpful.
