Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Arthritis In The Knee

I have had a rather painful attack of Osteoathritis on the bone on the side of my left knee , i have been prescribed Diclofenac ta50 mg but i am experiencing burning pain in my osofageus and have to take Gaviscon and cold water to relieve the symptoms , i stopped taking them but the pain in the knee has got worse being very difficult to put weight on it .I will be interested in your reply Don Gates .

Thanks for posting on HCM
Osteoarthritis responds well on diclofenac.However, diclofenac like any other nonsteroidal antiinflammatory may give you gastric pains/chest burns. I will suggest you see your Doctor to try a COX 2 inhibitor like celebid.
