Hi. I m 25, female and had symptoms of UTI few weeks ago. I had urinalysis and the result showed wbc 1-3 hpf, RBC 46-50 hpf, blood +++, protein ++. I observed recurrent blood in my urine which prompted me to have my urine tested. I consulted a doctor (family med) and told me to consult a nephrologist for better clarification of the results. I had fever and chills and pain on the side of my waist that lasted for 5 days. I consulted another doc (still not nephro) and he prescribed me to take antibiotics as he could see it as infection. I took it for 7 days and the symptoms somehow alleviate. The doc advised me to have another urinalysis test and look for a nephrologist. I have just claimed the result of my urinalysis. Here are the results: wbc 3-5 hpf, rbc 31-35 hpf, blood +++, protein negative. I was wondering and worrying at the same time about its interpretation. I hope you could help. Thank you very much!
