Suggest Treatment For Swollen Thumb After Injury

My palm around my thumb is puffy and swollen, no signs of bruising on the outside but I feel pain on the inside of my hand in that area. It hurts to move things with that hand and I was wondering what it could be? I burnt my wrist on an iron and since then something in my hand has been hurting. Maybe I jerked and a blood vessel popped or something I don t know
