Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes With Strep

My five year old Son and I were treated a week and a half ago with antibiotics for strep throat. He woke up this morning with a large, painful lump on the right side of his neck down low near his collar bone. Just slightly above it. He has been having problems with swollen lymph nodes with his strep, but this one is in an odd place and it's only on one side. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The swollen lymphnode can be because of the infection in the head and neck region. So consult a general physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin(if he is not allergic). You can get an ultrasound scan to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
