Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck

I have swollen lyphe nodes in back of my neck, back of my head . Started 7 days ago and keep getting more up to 9 knots now and swelling behind one ear. Painful. have been to dr and had blood test and urin run. They say it must b an infection and gave me antibiotics 3 days ago, I have been taking them but not going away and getting more.

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain lumps in back of neck, head and sweling behind ear can be all due to swollen lymph nodes also known as LYMPHADENOPATHY and it is commonly due to infections..

You should consult an Emergency room and get evaluated..

In case of infections and inflammation antibiotics like Augmentin and anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen can be advised..

In case if there is some doubt still left Biopsy of lymph nodes can be done..
