Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck

Hi my daughter is 3 y/o she told me sunday that she feels a bump on the right side where the neck & the jaw comes together I went to the er & they told me it is lymph nodes & nothing to worry if it is not going down I should follow up with a ENT so far we have a hard time to get a appointment by a good ENT we are just very nerves about it , want to hear your Opinion on it tx

Hi,
Thanks for writing in to HCM.

Your daughter's enlarged lymphnodes mostly suggest infection that could be secondary to adenoids or tonsilitis if the swelling is accompained with fever or if they are painful.

Kindly consult a paediatrician.
They may advice antibiotics along with analgesics and antipyretics to resolve the infection.

Give her warm fluids like soups. Salt water gargle.
