Suggest Treatment For Swollen Hard Red Nose
My nose is red, hard and swollen. I went to the doctor on Thursday and have impetigo on the outside and just on the inside of my nose. He prescribed ointment and antibiotics which seems to be helping because the infection isn t worsening but I am wondering how to bring the swelling down? I had an ice pack on my nose yesterday but it is still very swollen and hard, also taking ibuprofen for swelling/inflammation... please help :(

What you have is known as Vestibulitis of nose. Along with antibiotics you need a pain killer/antiinflammatory. In case the swelling doesnot come down after 5 days of treatment, you may require drainage of pus.
