Suggest Treatment For Swollen Face

Had a toothache for 2 days and now the toothache is gone but I m left with a swollen face will the doctor be able to prescribe me with antibiotics while I wait for dentist? Also if I get a dentist appointment will they treat it straight away such as root canal/extraction or will they give me antibiotics for the swelling first?

Hi..
Thanks for the query..

As per your complain it looks like the infection is the cause for swollen face..
There can be tooth abscess formation that can cause swelling due to pus formation..

So my suggestion is to consult a Physician if you are not able to see a dentist right now and he can advise you antibiotics along with anti inflammatory painkillers and serratiopeptidases..
Do cool compresses over the swelling..

The treatment can be done once the swelling reduces and also after antibiotic cover only so first of all antibiotics has to be taken either you consult a Dentist or a Physician..

Hope this helps..

Regards..
