Hi everyone. My name is raine from Philippines manila , I was experiencing swollen eye. But I'm confused because my right eye are not in pain or it looks fine but I feel the puffiness of it. It started 2 days ago nothing worsen happened I was just looking for an answer how long it would a swollen eye last? Hope your reply thank you
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swollen eye . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like allergies , conjunctivitis , styes and chalazion . I would suggest you to wash your eyes with normal water and apply cold compresses on them , avoid any cosmetic product on face and avoid food like nuts and sea food . Also take antihistamine like benadryl twice a day . If condition persist for 1-2 days then consult opthalmologist for proper chechup . Doctor may prescribe eye drops containing anti allergic , anti bacterial or anti viral . Doctor may also examine your eyes for some forign body and remove it .
