Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Tonsils

Hi, my throat has been hurting for 2 days now. I just looked at my tonsils and the left one looks a bit bloody and has a large, red vein coming out. The right tonsil is very swolen and painful. It also has a small white spot. I don t have a fever and I feel alright but it is very difficult to swallow. Do you have any advice on what I should do?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The swollen tonsil can be because of the bacterial infection resulting in tonsilitis or peritonsillar abscess. Nothing to be panic, consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics preferably a combination of amoxicillin and metronidazole. Do saline gargling.
I hope I have answered your query, take care.
