Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Thumb
I have hand cramps, in my thumb muscles this happens when ever holding a pen a paint roller for a while not long maybe 5-10 and it will start to cramp and sometimes even swell. I used to be a server and I have done massage. I also have trained in mma for a couple of years now. I am also very weak in my wrist i have very poor flexablilty in them it hurts to do to many push ups. what is your advise?

Tenosynovitis can lead to pain in thumb.
Tenosynovitis is due inflammation and swelling of tendon .swelling on tendon may not reduce with medication alone.
Local steroid injection can give good results added with physiotherapy protocol
Use of machine can reduce your pain and swelling, you can ask your physio for wax bath therapy
Use ice packs to reduce swelling, inflammation and pain.
Physiotherapy with ultrasound and Tens will help you,
For early healing you can take Tab celin [vit C] and antioxidant with anti-inflammatory [Tab enzomac plus ].
