Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Testicles

Sir, I have a history of testis swelling for the past seven years. Ultra sound scan revealed no hydrocele but the general surgeons I consulted often attributed the cause of infection. A thorough recourse of powerful antibiotics brought the swelling down in the past. One of the doctor near my locality recommended me to consult a vascular surgeon. I fear the problem occur to me again and again. I appreciate your suggestion.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Since you have been seen by a General Surgeon and given antibiotics which settled the testicular swelling, the diagnosis is either orchitis or epididymo-orchitis.
You should take the full course for 3 weeks minimum for the cure or may even need longer and hence there is a chance of recurrence if one does not take antibiotics for long enough.
There is no need to see a Vascular Surgeon, there is no role.
You can go for culture and sensitivity of the semen and urine. This will guide further.
