Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Knee

My knee is swollen and above the knee feels very tight. The xray indicate that I have arithris in my hips and legs. Last week I went to an Orthopedic doctor , he drained fluid from knee, but it is still swollen and stiff. I try to go up and down steps (limited) to keep moving. I need your advice, please.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that your knee arthritis is in advance stage. I do not think that injection are sufficient to take care of that.I think you might needed knee replacement. Till you decide about this I would recommend you to use following treatment for arthritis.
1.Hot water fomentation.
2.Volitran ointment local application.
3.Tablet calcium and vitamin D3 daily.
4. Take Nimesulide or ultracet which is better for old population.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you.Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks
