Hi. The left side of my face, particularly where my cheeks are, I have developed what looks like an abcess. It is swollen. I shave everyday and sometime hair remains lodged under the skin and I usually take a tweezer to remove it. It started out as a normal small razor bump, but has graduated to the size of a quarter. I think it has become infected?
Hi Welcome to healhcaremagic After going through your query I concluded that you are having infected sebaceous cyst over your cheek. You needs analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You needs antibiotics for control of infection. Vitamin B and C is helpful in recovery. You may need incision and drainage for removal of its pus. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
