Suggest Treatment For Swollen And Painful Ankle

I fractured my left calcaneous bone in a fall over 2 year go and I have never been the ame I walk with a gimp, ankle has no range of motion and I painful all day every day. the area is swollen and I have to ice it for pain I ant stand on eet all day anymmoe and cant afford a Doctor which they say I need to apply for SSDI

It is possible that you may have arthritis of the joint. This can occur secondary to trauma.

Arthritis can cause swelling and pain of the joint. The use of anti inflammatory pain killers such as ibuprofen, naproxen, voltaren.
If these are not effective then your doctor can give your stronger medications.

Staying off the foot as much as possible would also help.
