Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Face After Injury

i had an accident on the bike yesterday and had a collision the rigbt side of my face is swollen and there is a bubble popping sensation under my skin around my ear, temple and cheek area. i did go to the A&E yesterday and they xrayd my head and said there were no fractures. i would like to know what this bubble popping sensation under the skin is

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling in the face after injury which seems to be due to traumatic injury to the soft tissues and leads to accumulation of inflammatory fluids into the area. Pain and swelling is due to inflammation in this area.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses and maintaining proper asepsis as wound can get infected at times. You should take proper course of medications like antibiotics and anti inflammatory painkillers. You should keep your moral up as facial injuries let you feel bad, don't worry at all as it will resolve with time after all preventive measures. Visit oral physician once and get it examined completely and start treatment accordingly.
