Suggest Treatment For Swelling In The Collarbone

The best I can describe it is a soft swelling along my collarbone on one side. It is barely noticeable but it appears different from the other side. I did not even notice it myself. It was pointed out by a relative, who happens to be a nurse, while swimming. There is no pain or any symptoms and I have never broken my collarbone or had an injury in this area.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Swelling with no pain along collar bone may be a small lipoma, a cyst or skin tag.I will suggest you see the Doctor as only a medical examination may reveal nature of the small mass. From the nature of the mass, treatment options may be discussed. It may however need no treatment if it is benign and does not cause any pain or increase in size.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
