Suggest Treatment For Swelling In Gland Near To Eye

Hi my boyfriend is a 26yr old male. He is in good health with one exception. His glands in front of his ears have been swollen for 5 weeks and you can’t see his ear lobes when facing him the swelling is that bad. He is in no pain and feels well otherwise. The glands didn’t gradually swell, they came up overnight but have grown slightly over the last few weeks.

His weight is about 76kg and height of about 5”11

He has been to 3 different doctors, including a nose throat and ear specialist who sent him home and told him to suck lemons. They also said that it may be a different strain of the mumps and to stay away from pregnant women, note again that the glands are still swollen after 3 weeks and I haven’t contracted anything. He has had 3 sets of blood tests which show his white blood cells and all the other things as normal. He has also had an ultra sound scan completed which also showed nothing. He also had the test come back negative for glandular fever

Can you suggest anything else...? would it be an mineral deficiency etc. It’s becoming a bit of a worry

Thanks
