General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

The doctor is suspecting GERD in which the stomach acid starts coming up from stomach to the food pipe (the esophagus). When it keep doing like this for many months to years this corrosive acid makes the wall of the food pipe so irritated that it starts changing its shape and superficial cell structures.

Also there is sometimes the lower end of foodpipe so loose that acid can;t stay in the stomach anymore and get regurgitated into the food pipe.

My suggestion is to go for an endoscopy and consult a Gastroenterologist for proper evaluation and treatment. Gastroenterologist will help you for Endoscopy too.

Hope I answered all of your questions. Have a wonderful time ahead. Keep in touch for a follow-up too.

Regards!
