Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Redness In The Navel Area

Symptoms: VERY red inside the naval (a grandmother so no pieced bellyrings) a little swollen..slight soreness..no discharge..it almost looks like a bump on one of the skin folds inside her naval but no whiteheads..and not 100% sure if its a bump..a DR did not culture it just wrote a script for an antibiotic to treat a bacterial infection. I ve had her clean it with dial soapy warm water..rinse it with saline..apply a yeast infection cream on it. No big results yet though..any idea what this may be? No buldges from the abdomen area that may resemble a hernia..at a loss???? Thanks!

Hello,
If it is red and swollen then there could be an infection. She needs to take the antibiotic and if it is not resolving she needs to return to the doctor
