ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome in H.C.M.

Regarding swelling on your left nostril along with pain it appears as you are having Vestibulitis Nose. This appears to be infective and patients with diabetes are more prone for this infection.

At the same time I would like to tell you that nostrils are supposed to be part of danger area of face because infection from here may spread to brain. Keeping above in mind do not squeeze the Ala of nose and it will be better to consult your ENT doctor.

Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
