Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Itching Post Multiple Bee Stings

I have had many bee stings. Two years ago I ran into s ground nest while mowing and got 22 stings. Last week I ran into another while mowing and got 8 stings. My hand swelled up like a balloon, my ankle swelled up, the other bites got red and a 4 circle of pink. That lasted 2 days then lessened and now they are just itchy. How do I know when I should get an epi pen? YYYY@YYYY Nancy

General & Family Physician 's  Response
A sting or bite of insect injects venom composed of proteins and other substances that may trigger an allergic reaction. The sting also causes redness and swelling at the site of the sting.
Epi pen is used in anaphylaxis reaction. You don’t need it. However, if you have any sign of anaphylaxis such as breathing difficulty, low blood pressure, nausea/vomiting, throat constriction, unconsciousness etc, then immediately go to hospital.
Advice
1.     Levocetirizine 5 mg daily orally for 7 days
2.     Dexamethasone 0.5 mg twice daily per oral for 7 days
3.     Cold fomentation with ice pack 5 – 6 times daily
4.     Ibuprofen 600 mg thrice daily after meal per oral if pain occurs. Otherwise avoid it
5.     Take rest for few days
6.     Do not scratch the area as it will cause skin damage and infection
7.     You can apply calamine lotion for itching
Thanks
