Suggest Treatment For Sun Burn

I am a 23 year old female, 57 kilos, i got a second degree sunburn four days ago, i stopped taking my retin a medication a year ago and not currently taking any medication.. I was perscribed oral cortancyl 20mg for three days and a deep moisturizer to be applied three times a day.. The burn is on my legs, thighs, arms, chest and tummy. It doesnt hurt anymore but still very red and not peeling yet.. Im very afraid it will scar! Will it?

Hi...thanks for sharing your problem here in this forum...
You have 2nd degree burns which are healing now...its very important to prevent infection as these are then converted into 3rd degree burn...which heals with very bad scar...i will advise you to wash the burnt area frequently...use antibiotic and steroidal cream...like bacitracine and betnovit....also use antiallergic as this will start itching...
Most of the 2nd degree burns healed with good scar if you dont have propensity for hypertrophic scars or keloid....
Once the wound is healed do massage with vaseline....massage should be hard enough...this will prevent scar formation...if you have any question you can ask...thanks
