Hi! My grand mom had a stroke on 12th Jan. She was diagnosed of clots in brain based on MRI. She recovered well afetr taking clexane injections and is now using ecospirin regularly. On 27th Jan, suddenly again thre was facial distortion. Swelling of left side a mouth distortion on right side. Doctor confirmed that it is not a fresh stroke. He suggested that she should try taking levipil for 10 days. Kindly advice.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
I suggest to check on her blood pressure on a regular basis daily morning because high blood pressure can increase the on going damage as well can cause a stroke again. Now on top of this do take physiotherapy exercise treatment to make her functionaly independent. The improvement may take time as per the damage in brain tissue so have patience and just start with physiotherapy as early as possible. And keep checking on medication regularly with your doctor. Here since the actual report is not available your consulting doctor is right person to suggest on medication.
Take care.
