Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And A Lump In The Throat
I have been very ill with stomach pains and now I have ear pressure and a feeling like a lump in my throat. I had a abdominal C-scan done and they did not see anything that was not normal. I have also had a chronic cough for over a year and a chest x-ray was done and it looked fine too. I ve been taking heartburn medicine for about 2 months so stomach is a little better but now I have this ear pressure problem, neck pain, and feeling like a lump in my throat. I had the H plori breath teat done and it cam back fine also. Ear, nose and throat doctor checked ears and no sinus problems either. I just need some answers.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your history and the findings of CT scan of the abdomen and X-ray of the chest. Your present symptoms looks to be due to the following reasons: You are basically suffering from hyperacidity and GERD, that is gastro-esophageal reflux disease. This has caused the feeling of the lump in throat. This is secondary to the acid that comes to your throat. This is turn causes the feeling of the problems in the ears, neck and throat although the ENT examination may not reveal much of the positive findings.
