General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I am sorry for the health problems your son is going through.

The presence of pus cells in his motion culture indicate for the intestinal infection. It is better that the lab must define the exact bacteria that caused the infection and the most susceptible antibiotic, so the treatment would be more appropriate and we can ensure the success.

Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that covers a wide range of bacteria and will help to cure the infection. This drug must not be taken same time with zinc supplements because they bind it and the drug does not act properly.

Take gnorm powder with zinc tonic two hours after the antibiotic (ofloxacin).

Usually, the infection is stabled within 10 days. If the symptoms persist please get back to his pediatrician fur further evaluations and treatment.

Hope this was helpful. Wish fast recovery.
