Suggest Treatment For Stomach Cramps And Blood In Stools

I am 56,female,5 feet 6 inches, and 170 lbs, with a history of internal/external hemorrhoids, IBS,chronic gastritis, and had a bout of infectious colitis about 2 years ago with GI bleed. I was not hospitalized with gi bleed as vitals were stable. today I had some pretty bad stomach cramps with frequeint loose, mucusy stools-wiping did cause irritation and the last time I went, there was blood on the toilet paper, but alot of flecks in the toilet bowl as well...not sure if this is hemmroids or another bout of infectious clolitis.....no fever, no nausea/vommiting....some epigastic pain. I am visiting and away from the doctors familiar with my history and don't have any insurance where I am...how long should i give this before i seek medical treatment

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Enterocolitis with ?Giardiasis ,causing IBS-D(diarrhea).The blood on the toilet paper mostly is due to Dysentery with blood / mucus in stools.
Possibility of accompanied hemorrhoids is remote,as the stools are liquid and not hard.
This time the attack seems to be Sub-acute and hence is without fever / vomitting, which you had earlier frequently.
Treatment-
Tab Cipolx-Oz- 1 x 2 times x 10 days time
Tab Meftal spas-1 x 2 times a day
Tab Zincovit-1 x 2 times a day.
Tab Sporolac to maintain the bowel bacterial flora.
Bland diet with plenty of fluid with electrolyte to supplement losses.
Stool and blood tests to guide the finer prints of treatment.

Hope this reply would help you to plan further treatment with your family and specialist doctors there.

Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!

Hello
If this stops within 5 days it would likely be viral and not serious.
Beyond that you'd need a stool culture to see if it's bacterial
