Hi, thanks for posting the concern in the HCM.
The bowel symptoms mentioned by you may be due to numerous reasons. A
peptic ulcer disease, non-ulcer dyspepsia, liver disease,
gall bladder pathology, functional bowel disorders, colitis or enteritis etc. should be ruled out.
A detailed history coupled with clinical examination by a gastroenterologist is needed to come to a specific diagnosis. You may also need to do the following tests-
Complete blood count, urea, creatinine, liver function test, amylase, lipase
Stool for routine examination and Obtain
USG whole abdomen
Barium meal xray
Upper GI endoscopy
Provisionally from the history it seems that
the problem is related to your psychiatric problems or symptoms of
irritable bowel syndrome. But, that is a diagnosis of exclusion. All other causes need to be excluded to specify that diagnosis.
For the time being,
Avoid empty stomach, spices and carbonated beverages.
Tab Drotin DS sos for symptomatic relief.
Maintain good oral hydration.
For any further information, please write back.
