General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Pain and stiffness of neck and back is more often due to cervical spondylitis.
Cervical spondylosis is an age-related condition that affects the joints in your neck.
Kindly get an X-ray of cervical spine (AP and Lateral View) done. Kindly take an opinion in this regard from an Orthopedician.
In the mean time, you can take analgesic with muscle relaxant combination like Ibuprofen + Chloroxazone, twice daily after food.
You don't have to worry as this condition is treatable with medications, cervical collar and physiotherapy exercises.
Wish you good health.
