Suggest Treatment For Stabbing Pain In The Head

I have had a bad headache for 2 days. It feels like a knife is stabbing in the back left side of my head. The pain comes and goes but I cant help but make sudden outbursts when the pain gets to be too much. It is not a migraine, it is something else. Do you have any advice for me?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, most of the headache are due to stress, and it can not be something else unless it is being confirmed or diagnose with the help of imaging study like CT brain, till then it is the functional headache and it can be managed with Tab Acetaminophen, or Aspirin, tranquilizer can be added like Chlordiazepoxide hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
