Suggest Treatment For Spinal Meningitis In An Infant

Hi! My boyfriend is 32 year old white male who contracted spinal meningitis as an infant, then developed epilepsy as a result. He also is dyslexic and cannot comprehend anything he struggles to try and read. He keeps telling me he is going to die young and this scares me. Currently he takes medication to control his seizures but occasionally he skips or misses doses and has seizures. He went seizure free from Feb. 2016 until just last week where he ran out of his meds for two days and had two seizures within an hour or two when we were sleeping. Do you believe he will die young or can him and I grow old together?
