Suggest Treatment For Sores In Mouth

I don t ever have problems, thank god. About four days ago I got a few sores on either side of my mouth. I had about five teeth capped in the back of my mouth about 12 years ago , and within the last month they all came out leaving some sharp edges in my mouth. I have had over the years a sore or two in my mouth and usuall y a little fly oxide and salt water wash clears them up in a day or two. The ones I have now have been in my mouth for four days and they are extremely sore. Again I have been washing with a peroxide mouth cleanser and glycoside which burns more than usual this time. Is there anything I should be scarred off? I also seem to have a upper respitory infection and have been coughing up a lot of yellow Mucas. Could this be part of the problem?
