Suggest Treatment For Soreness In Throat And Tongue

Hi I had the sensation of something stuck in my throat for 3 days caused me to gag and gave me the feeling other food was get stuck. I sneezed which really hurt my throat?? But then the lump iny throat went Away. I then felt like my who throat was raw And noticed white pus stuff on my uvulva. The next day gone. Have been taking amoxicillin day 3 now. Tongue now looks a bit white feels raw and so does my throat! Please what do you think it could be??

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you had an infection in throat and the symptoms of something stuck in throat and pus over uvula seems to be due to infection causing Pharyngitis and Uvulitis..
As you started taking antibiotic amoxicillin for it the infection started subsiding leading to improvment..
The white appearance of throat and tongue after taking antibiotics seems to be due to yeast infection known as Thrush..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case if thrush is diagnosed as the cause you can be advised to take antifungal medicines like Nystatin mouth wash and sucking Clotrimazole lozenges..
In case if it does not resolve in 15 days then oral antifungals like Fluconazole can be advised..
