Suggest Treatment For Soreness In The Tongue With Dry Mouth
I've had a sore tongue, on both sides for 4 days. The pain went into my ears. I also have dry mouth due to 300g of Effexor daily. Today my tongue pain is almost gone, but I felt nauseous all day, with annoying headache and for about 2 hours I've been extremely dizzy.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain soreness of tongue along with a history of having Dry Mouth seems to be most probably due to inflammation inside mouth secondary to Dry mouth causing soreness and is known as GLOSSITIS.. Nausea and dizziness also seems to be side effects of the medication.. Consult your physician and get evaluated and he can reduce the dose of the medications or change the medications as of needed to reduce the symptoms.. For soreness of tongue gargling with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine can help.. Such ice and do cool water rinses.. For reducing dryness chew sugar free chewing gum and instil artificial saliva drops.. Gargle with specialized mouthwash containing Methylcellulose like Biotene to relieve the symptoms..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
