My throat has been hurting for some time. I noticed that it is getting worse and now sometimes I get serve sharp pains on one side of my throat. This always happens when I drink something really cold. Now, it seems to happen when I am not eating or drinking at all. Any idea what would cause this?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The sore throat can be because of the bacterial infection. Nothing to be panic, you can consult an Otolaryngologist and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin (if you are not allergic). Do saline gargling. Avoid cold and spicy food. Do saline gargling. I hope I have answered your query, take care.
