Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

I have had a sore throat for about 2 months now. I have been working in very hot conditions outside all of the time. Recently the sore throat has gotten a little worse and i have noticed a that the left side of my neck, i guess a muscle that runs up my neck is very sore and tender. I have been to a doctor and i don t have strep or mono and that was all she could tell me. Do I have anything to worry about?

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having chronic sore throat.
This requires treatment by the use of anti-inflammatory drugs and antibiotics depending on the culture and sensitivity report of the throat swab.
Salt water gargling provides symptomatic relief. Since the condition is existing for long time you need to consult your ENT doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
