Hi, I had feeling of something stuck in my throat so I visited ENT doctor. The feeling of stuck sensation was at or above the thyroid cartilage. I also get pungent taste sometime when I swallow. Previously I had sore throat 1 week prior visiting the ENT DOCTOR. I did not take any medical help. I used to use salt water gargle and the symptoms subsided. This visit the doctor examined my throat and prescribed kefpod for 1 week. Next day swab test was done and blood picture was taken. The swab test showed no grown micro organism. Blood picture was normal. Doctor said it is viral infection and asked me to complete the antibiotic course and use nasal spray. Ear wax was also removed. Now it has been more than 20 days the feeling of stuck sensation is still persistent. I continue to use betadine gargle. What more can I do to get over the stuck sensation? Is it the follicle as my ENT doctor said should I under go any test? Please suggest me any thing to relieve the symptom Thank you
