Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Nasal Congestion And High Fever

Hello, my husband has had a sore throat, chest and nasal congestion for a few days. In the last 24 hours he has run a mild fever sporadically. He is taking WalMart s Equate version of Cold & Flu (Acetaminophen, Phenylephrine, Guafinesin & Dextromethorphan). 30 minutes ago his temperature was 103.9, it is now 103.3. He is 63 years old. Should I take him to the hospital?

Hello, If fever is as high as mentioned, and if not reduced on taking acetaminophen then it is better to visit a hospital. As treatment by over the counter remedies may not address the actual cause. Thanks
