Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Tonsilitis

Hi My daughter who is 14 years old had a sore throat the doc said it tonsilitis he sent her for an ASO test it was result of 400 he gave a prescription for antibiotic for three months 1 tablet taken daily. I am concerned about the length which she must take antibiotic. is this normal, how long should antibiotic be taken for?

If the ASO titer is high antibiotic coverage is required lifelong.
This is to protect the body, particularly the valves of the heart.
Your daughter is absolutely on the right track of treatment, do not doubt it.
