Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Swallowing Difficulty

Last weak i was out of station there only i got fever and body pain. There i consult a doctor and i took some tablets which he mentioned. Now i am in my place two days i was fine, i went outside for some work that night again i had a fever and throat pain. Now i donot have fever but I am having pain in right ear and tonsils while swallowing . Iam feeling tired also. Please reply me asap

Can understand your concern..

As per your symptoms it seems that you are suffering from COMMON COLD which is a viral infection and causing you fever and tonsillitis..

In viral infection antibiotics dont help as they fight only bacterial infection.

For relief from throat pain you can take CALPOL/TYLENOL as it will relieve pain as well as inflammation and mild fever too if present..

Do warm saline gargles..
Avoid spicy and hard food products..
Take milk boiled with a pinch of turmeric bed time for relief..
Keep yourself well hydrated to avoid dryness of throat..
Take soothening lozanges like vicks cough drops,strepsils three to four a day can give relief..


If still you do not find any relief in next 4 to 5 days or if symptoms aggravate consult a doctor to get ruled out for other causes of your problem..
