Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Itching Bumps On The Finger

I have had flu like symptoms for the past few days with a sore throat and fever. After the first day of being sick I started breaking out in little red itchy/burning bumps first on a few of my finger and now all over my hands and feet and a few on my lower leg. Will these go away on their own? Is this just happening because I had a fever so much? How can I get rid of them? I ve been switching between taking tylenol and advil and I m taking benadryl too.

Hello,
I suggest that you that you see your doctor for testing to determine if an antibiotic is necessary to treat your condition. Please try to take a combination of one Tylenol and one Advil at regular intervals. If you cannot reduce your fever with anti-inflammatory medication or your fever is very high, please visit your doctor. High fevers can be associated with rashes. Streptococci infections can be spread by salvia and common tissue responses can include redness and itchy bumps. A clinical exam will help determine if your conditions are related. You can continue to treat your skin condition with Benadryl in various forms such as tablets, lotions and sprays. Stay well hydrated. Drink plenty of liquids. Balanced vitamins with B12 are also recommended.
Thank you for your inquiry.
