Suggest Treatment For Small White Spots On The Throat

I have had a sore throat for about 7 days now and my voice is gone. I do not see white spots throat is just woolen and red. Also I have this white ball stuck in the swelling. It appears to be one of those things when you get a cold and cough up and usually smells awful. I at some point had a low grade fever but nothing to make me feel down and out. After day 1 of chills and body aches with sore throat I have turned to normal life activities. No one in my household is sick either and I have not been extra cautious about not spreading it other than covering my mouth when I cough and frequent hand washing. What do you think is the problem?

Hello

You seem to have developed a tonsil infection , and the white spots with foul smell are undigested food particles with bacteria/micro organisms stuck in the grooves of your tonsils.Since they have disappeared , it is likely that you are already recovering and will be fine in 2-3 days. Just gargle with warm salt water 2-3 times a day and take rest , you will be fine. Please meet your doctor if you do not feel better in 2-3 days.
