Suggest Treatment For Small Solid Lump On Scrotum.

Hi, i'm a 31 year old male, a physical training instructor in the military. Recently i noticed a pea/bean size lump under the skin of my scrotum, low down between the legs. It isn't painful but i notice it more when i'm riding my bike. I've had the odd ingrowing hair in the past down there, which i've managed to burst after a few days, but this won't drain, it feels more solid! I've had it for 4 weeks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of a lump on the srotal skin in between thighs of 4 weeks duration.
Since it is hard and painless, there are more chances that it is a growing secaceous cyst.
This can be a mass too.
I would advise you the following.
Since its position and duration is odd. it would be better to have clinical evaluation and examination be done BH a General Surgeon.
Get operated for 2 reasons..
1.
You get rid of the disease
2. You get a diagnosis whether this be a benign disease or something more sinister that needs big surgery or long treatment.

I find this answer helpful
