Suggest Treatment For Small Bumps On Legs And Painful Legs

My daughter 31 yrs. old had an upper respiratory infection in Sept. and was given Cipro for 7 days. About a week later she started getting bumps on her legs. They started out small and became larger harder and more painful. The ones on her ankles , knees, hips hurt constantly. She said the pain is deep like her bones are broken. She has since been given a course of Keflex for 9 days and now Cleocin for 10 days. The pain and bumps are still present although some are smaller and have turned to looking more like a bruise, the pain has not subsided. She is running a slight fever and has edema in her ankles mainly, not the entire leg.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that your daughter have developed boils over your leg. This infection may have spread from upper respiratory infection you got as she is also running fever. Treatment of it antibiotics and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Vitamin B and C will help in recovery. If pus is there she can get culture and sensitivity of pus and can give antibiotics according to culture and sensitivity of pus. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing your daughter a good health. Take care.
