Thanks for your query . The infection of skin of face that causes localise darkening of skin is known as erythrasma . Corynebacterium cause this infection .
It causes localize darkening of skin or dark brown skin.Exposure to UV radiation of sun make it worse . so avoid sun exposure .
I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . doctor may order culture or microscopy test to confirm the diagnosis . He/she may prescribe clindamycin solution , fucidic acid cream and antibiotic . He/she may also recommend red light therapy. Also give cold compresses to affected area.
